PlotToTable is a goal-first garden planner. You tell it what you want to eat and for how many people, and it generates an exact grow plan: how many plants and seeds you need, how much space, when to sow each round, a season calendar, and how to preserve what you grow.

The numbers come from a tested engine built on cited horticultural data. AI is used only to write the plain-English explanation, never to calculate the plant counts or dates. That means the plan is reproducible and the math is traceable.

Plans are planning estimates based on general yield data, your ZIP code frost dates, and your inputs. They give you a solid starting point. Real results depend on your soil, seed variety, rainfall, and how the season plays out, all of which are outside our control.

Treat the plan as a well-informed first draft, not a guarantee. Adjust plant counts up or down as you learn what your garden produces. PlotToTable is a planning tool, not professional agricultural advice.

More than most people find. Every free plan includes the bed map, succession sow dates, a weekly checklist, harvest-readiness signs for every crop, and the total grocery value of your garden. The engine also flags the stuff that saves beginners: companion conflicts (crops that make poor neighbors), prolific-crop warnings (one zucchini plant is plenty), harden-off dates for transplants, and a container version of your plan if you have no beds.

Fell behind? Hit replan from todayon your plan page and the whole schedule re-runs from today’s date, skipping windows you missed. And as harvest comes in, log what you pick: your garden page keeps a running “you’ve grown $X of food” counter from real store prices. Outside in the sun with dirty hands? Tap the contrast circle in the menu bar for Mud Mode, a high-contrast, big-button version of the site.

Two more that surprise people: Will it Fit?uses your phone’s camera to show the planned bed standing in your actual yard at real size before you build anything, and the free surplus swap board lets you post extra harvest so gardeners in your ZIP area can claim it. Replies go through a private relay, so nobody sees your email address.

A free saved plan stays available for 90 days after you make it, and we email you about a week before it expires. Plans you paid for, the $12 Custom Plan or anything made with Premium, never expire.

Free: a once-a-month “time to plant” checklist for your ZIP code if you sign up for it, plus a heads-up before a saved plan expires. Premium adds sow and harvest reminders timed to your mornings, the Saturday digest, and local pest alerts you can switch on per garden. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.

The $12 Custom Plan is a one-time purchase. You pick as many crops as you want, pay once, and unlock your whole garden, every crop, with sow dates, spacing, and counts, as a printable field guide. No account or subscription required. Your plan never expires: print it, save the PDF, or come back to it anytime. It is a good fit if you want a done-for-you plan without a recurring commitment.

Go to your Account page and click “Manage subscription.” That opens the billing portal where you can cancel. When you cancel, your Premium access stays active through the end of the period you already paid for. You are not charged again.

No, nothing disappears. Every plan you have saved stays in your account dashboard for good, even after you cancel. You can always log in and look at them.

What pauses is the Premium stuff tied to your subscription, like exporting a new PDF of a plan. That picks back up the moment you resubscribe.

One exception: the $129 Lifetime plan. Since it is a one-time payment and not a subscription, your Premium access, PDF exports included, never expires.

The $59 Annual plan and the $129 Lifetime plan both come with a 30-day money-back guarantee: if it is not for you, tell us within 30 days of the charge for a full refund. The monthly plan and annual renewals are cancel-anytime; we do not automatically refund the remaining days of a billing period, but if you were charged by mistake contact us within 7 days and we will work with you in good faith. The $12 Custom Plan is refunded in full any time before you use your first edit, so you can build your plan and still change your mind. We collect your email, your garden inputs, and basic usage data. We do not sell your personal information. Your payment is handled by Stripe, and your account and plans are stored in Supabase. See our full Privacy Policy for what we collect and your choices.

Planting windows are computed from your own ZIP code's frost dates, and that works for every US ZIP code, in every state and zone. Whether you garden in Minnesota or Georgia, your sow dates are keyed to your local last and first frost, not a generic zone chart.

Yield data comes from university extension sources and is calibrated most deeply in the Southeast today, with coverage expanding every season. Wherever you are, treat plant counts as a strong first draft and adjust as you learn what your garden produces.
